Sea World...What the.....?
Yesterday morning, I woke up to a shopping bag full of cloths. I paid it no mind as I thought my wife went shopping on Sunday. I returned home after a full day of lectures and study group sessions to find out that the bag was for me. I learned her sister's boyfriend felt the urge to hand me down some cloths. At first I thought it was a nice gesture. However, the more I thought about it, it was quite silly and almost insulting.
Let it be know that I did not open the bag. Tracy was the one who pulled out the cloths one by one. In the bag was a wool sweater, size L (that is about 2 sizes too small). Their was a blue old fashion Nike sweatsuit top that was reminiscent of Stets-a-sonic. There were some other tops that I cannot recall because I was less than impressed. Heck there were even some black Nike Chris Webber socks. However, the best item was a "Sea World" Gilligan styled hat. What the.......?
Are you serious. Did this fool really think that I would were suck a garment? What goes in the mind of someone who hands down second-hand items to a 31 year old man? Do I give the impression that I am needy? Do my economical ways and status of being a student urge you to feel pity on me? Let it be know, I would never offer my Rams Jerseys to Mark simply because I do not wear them anymore. The only way I would ever do a thing like that is if Mark was naked, living on the street, and begging for living (Although, he would probably make more money). That gesture is almost insulting and I would expect Mark to slap the crap out of me. I would expect nothing less. Just because I live simply does not meant that I am in need. I choose to live the way I do because I choose too. I do not charity in the way of a Gilligan "Sea World" hat.
I cannot write anymore about this. I am getting more agitated. All I know is that for Christmas, that fool is going to receive a nicely wrapped "Sea World" hat accompanied with a joyful Christmas wish of, "Don't you ever think of giving me anything else," comment.
