Fallen Soldiers
All good men must fall sometime. The only question is, "Will he get back up and be stronger?". Hector was the first to fall. Then came Paul, then Kenta, then me. The next soldier to fall is Mr. Lee. His time as a single ends in 8 days. Most people think when you fall, it hurts. That thinking is only for those that have not fallen. The truth is that it is the best fall you will ever have had in your life. What is better to put a smile on your face than waking up each morning next to your love.
Mark is reading this right now probably thinking of some smart butt remark to make. There are two problems with this. One, it is a remark that he has told 10,000 times. Two, my man is on his way down. In fact, he is the next to fall. My only advice to him is to make a few trips to Home Depot and take some free 'Do-it-yourself' classes.
Back to the main man, Mr. Lee. It is his time. My wife and I will be flying over to LA to join in the festivities. Lee is doing it up in style. The wedding and reception will be held on a yacht in the Long Beach Harbor. Knowing the man, I am sure there will be some Moet and white couches. I will be that man chilling in that corner seat, sipping, dipping and inquiring about the Liang's impressions of Lisboa. Next, I will be conversing with Slaven about his grand thoughts of pursuing a Harvard and his reasons for choosing an education at the 2nd best school in the Ivy. After that, my plan will be to strike a conversation with Neal about the most fabulous restaurants in New York City. Certainly, they cannot compare to those in Philadelphia. All in all, it will be a good time and I cannot wait to spend it with good people for a great occasion. I am honored to be a guest of this wedding.
Live it up Lee! You deserve it. See you in 8 days.
PS. For the 5 people reading this, the wedding plan is strictly for humor.
