Here we go again in this country. They claim to have stopped "Terrorists" from blowing up planes with hydrogen peroxide. Now, from what I understand, this chemical can make big bombs. However, the reaction from our government is a bit absurd in my honest opinion. Currently, you can no longer take on toothpaste, deodorant, cologne, hot sauce, hair moose, or any liquid as above. Are you kidding me? You are going to make people throw these things out. This is so ridiculous. Do you not think, if I saw people taking out Gatorade size bottles from their bag, begin mixing them together and then running wire from the solution to a digital camera that I would allow them to continue. No, and nor would anybody else. This is so far fetch it really insults the common sense of people.
So Britain thwarts a "Terrorist" plot and then your boy, not my boy, George Bush comes on the air talking about "Stark reminders". This has been comical. The government raises and lowers Red, Orange, Magenta, Black terror warning anytime they want. They continue to scare people from flying. They also always use 9/11 as the reason for everything we do. Why must we continue to live in fear. I for one do not. I do not believe anything the government says or does. It is almost all lies if you ask me. What we receive from officials are cliches and half truths. It is worst then watching a halftime interview of Lebron James of a basketball game. They guard their speak so much, I begin to laugh.
Do you realize that the US has been involve in all the world's major conflicts? We have 9/11 in New York, Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Lebanon. Oh, but don't you worry. We are protecting Americans and promoting freedom. Promoting freedom that the hundreds of thousand innocent people will never get to experience from our own terror.
I love my country, but we have a body of officials that are ruining it. It is time for people to rise, take a stand and clean up this mess. George Bush must go and all of his cronies. It must not stop there. We need to get deeper. The sad part of this is that in all honesty, the corrupt government will never be able to be cleaned. It is a sad day in America.

Amen!
But if I may, I would add that it is not a simple matter of corruption that is at hand. We live in a country that is run by an oligarchy, NOT a democracy. It is the lust for absolute power, the belief that hegemony must be achieved at all costs that makes the current neo-conservative administration so dangerous. They create an atmosphere of dread so that they can erect justifications for the erosion of all civil liberties. They worship at the altar of "executive power".
To me, it reeks of dictatorship; the very absence of freedom they seem to think is lacking elsewhere in the world. It is indeed a sad time in America. Sad, sickening, and revolting.
It is time to vote these people out of office, boot the neo-cons out of Congress this coming November. Sorry about the rant, had give my two cents. Peace.
