New Years Eve

I have spent many New Year Eve's in some great cities doing big things. I have spent them in the streets and bars of San Francisco. I have chilled at lounges and house parties in New York City. Even the streets of Bangkok had the pleasure of me bring in the New Year. I have done more on New Years than most people do in there lifetime. With all of these events, many good times were had. However, they were not the best times I ever had on New Years Eve. The reason is that you have to share your moment with crowds of people who are drunk and bump into you at any giving moment. You are never really able to enjoy a good coversation because there is so much noise and fools screaming. This all changed this year.
This past year, I had the best New Years Eve in my life. I went to New Jersey to see my girlfriend, Tracy. I arrived early in the day. During the day, we watch movies and talked as she sat in my lap. Then we cracked open a bottle of wine as we cooked dinner. We had a candle light dinner as we had a wonderful deep conversation. As midnight approached, we grabbed a cupcake and made a champaigne toasst. There were no crowds or drunken people. It was just me and her inside a warm house creating our own noise as we chilled. This was a perfect New Years Eve.

Fun In the Sun

Tomorrow, I will check off another city off my "Cities of the World I want to See" list. I am going to leave this God-forsaken cold of New York City to arrive in the sunny skies of Cancun.

Thinking of Spring

I am sitting, eyes glazing out the window at soiled snow on 157th street. It is cold, cold and even colder. My days are filled with looking for a job and getting my business back up and running. These activities are not sufficient to fill the day. Between these activities, I take trips to the Jersey Shore and to the sunshine in sunny California. I picture my pectorals cutting the rays of the sun and my washboard abs echoing whistles as the gentle breeze flows through the deep canals. Once I return, I realize that I need to prepare for these trips. I need to begin the pull-up, pushup, sit-up and spinning workout routine. Day two of the regimen and I already feel invincible. It is only January, but my mind is in May. Once May comes, my body will be there too. I will be like Jessica Simpson - so irresistible.
