FINE. I'M FINE.
My doctors don't listen to me. I have a hard, sore vein in my neck and no one cares! It could explode! What about when I push Joss out? (Do not weigh in on the name. I have more pressing matters to attend to, e.g. detonating jugulars.) The exertion will surely blow the vein! No one cares!
Plus: it's the same vein (just higher up) that the nurses destroyed when they inserted an IV in my arm during my 1st pregnancy. The vein is ruined! Forever! And it could have a clot! Might go to my brain.
Why is my neck vein hard and sore? Why don't doctors read this blog, when it's obviously so entertaining, regularly-updated and full of accurate medical jargon? Plus, I have intestinal issues. Must be my portal vein. It's infected. I have septic phlebitis.
I think the shot I got last week was infected with bacteria, like maybe Group A Strep. The bacteria spread through my system and is eating my cardiovascular system. Shouldn't I have antibiotics or something?
I'm tizzed out. Then, there was my stroke Sunday night. That set me off too.
I've been taking medication for an infection. I woke up Sunday night at 1AM with a heavy arm. My fingers tingled. Then, my toes. I got up with an insistent ringing in my right ear. I picked up something to read. I needed a distraction. I couldn't see well -- bubble vision. I felt lightheaded. I walked to the den. I was dying, I knew it. It was the vein! The clot had traveled somewhere bad. I was stroking.
Kev followed me. I panicked. I begged him to take me to the ER. Call 911. I was on my way out. Kev yelled at me. (Isn't that mean? Wouldn't he be forever haunted by his last words to me after I passed?). I called 24-hour nurse hotlines. Maybe it's a reaction to your medication, they say. Go to ER if you want. If you want??? Isn't there some liability they assume by not immediately directing me to urgent care when I am obviously in cardiac distress?
Kevin tickles me. He rubs me head. He snuggles me. I fall asleep.
But the vein. It awaits.

1) If you have an infection, that MAY be why your neck is sore. Depending on the side of the neck that's sore, it could be something as simple as a backed up lymph gland.
2) You could be having a mild reaction to the meds you're on.
3) It's probably a stroke.

Im not so much addicted to Cathy Mitchell as I am morbidly fascinated by her. Shes SuperMom AND SuperScaryMom at the same time. Part of me agrees with you, in that its hard to imagine Murphy deciding to just eat the money owed to TT and MM even if he concludes after the season that we are moving the wrong direction under their leadership. Indeed whether this tale is true or no, the fact remains as it did in Crocketts day that the Congress had and has no authority to give away the peoples money. It is long since time also that We the People start doing our jobs as citizens in letting the Congress know that they govern at our pleasure, not their own and by imposing term limits on all of them including state and local office holders. For, it is a certainty in my view that it is a priviledge not a right to serve the people and at their pleasure not our individual own. This Marine Decries the voices heard of late of forceably taking back our country if things get much worse but this Marine also recognizes that the words of our founders that from time to time it may become necessary that a little blood must be spilled to maintain the freedoms guaranteed by our constitution but so rudely ignored by Congress and the Administration of late.

Well, first did you look at those splits, are you kidding me, those are amazing splits up until mile 21 when unfortunately you didnt have the endurance to continue that pace. For someone who was training a ton on the Alter-G and not putting in the miles a 4:06 is such an amazing accomplishment that Im still blown away that you did so well on such a tough course. Please think about this because at the end of the day if everything was aligned for you and you werent injured and undertrained you would of absolutely super rocked this thing more than you did yesterday. Im doing a giant report/ project and report on marilyns impact and this really helped. It is truly amazing I wish i could just talk to marilyn. I hope someday I can meet her in heaven. The other four are Lance Briggs (very ticked off), Asante Samuel (slightly ticked off, from what I've read), Dwight Freeney (happy camper), and Cory Redding (I have no idea how he feels about it). So even if you got all the franchise players that were ticked off about it, that's maybe a handful of players a year if you're lucky, and only some of them are stars that would bring fans to your league. I don't see how that would make much of a difference in building an 8 team league.
