What I got for my birthday (of interest primarily to the women-reading population):
Down payment on a new car, flowers, a skinny monkey, great dinner out, and a wine tasting trip (now that is fodder for a Blog...all in due time).
Other stuff:
J. Lo's new perfume (must I admit it was on my list?), a cashmere twin set (in celadon...someone knows me, I mean REALLY knows me), a subscription to Poet & Writer's Magazine, a six-pack of lipsticks (oh yes, I am known right down to my essence), a lovely framed pic, a Sephora gift certificate, and a new Scorch baby doll tee.
I guess that's a resounding chorus of "yeah, right!" to the "I'm not superficial" quatrain.
