It's wrong isn't it that

It's wrong isn't it that I sometimes make up reasons to shorten my ElderHelp visit with Rebecca.
I promise I don't do it until after the three hour mark...but it's still pretty spiritually decrepit.
I just don't have the heart to say I have other things to do, because I don't want her to think she's not important.
So I create "worthy" reasons to leave: car repairs, job interviews, and so on.
Does being a liar negate the whole volunteerism thing?
