A friend of ours' son got engaged last week, and to celebrate, the bride-to-be's family and our friend's family dined at a fancy restaurant.
During dinner, the b-to-b's dad brought out a bottle of champagne he'd purchased 26 years ago in anticipation of this event. A glowing toast -- with tears -- ensued. It seemed the girl's family had been waiting for this day forever.
Then, a little later, a florist delivered 3 bunches of red roses to the table. One went to the future bride, one to her mom, and one to our friend.
Again, this had been planned far in advance of the engagement. In point of fact, it'd been engineered pretty much the day the girl was born.
I can't decide if I think this is cute or.......
cute-less.

So nauseating to read that. You know damn well that the point about Perkins was that he ANCHORED OUR DEFENSE. He is very dedicated about that. And the fact that he did that for us meant that our other brilliant defenders could play harder, play tighter, gamble more, etc.. And if you want to bitch about his difficulties with the Thunder, quite apart from the fact that hes played well for the thunder, even though hes only at 60%, his problems there had a lot to do with bad rotations by other players. When he takes on the driving guard, SOMEONE has to rotate to cover the center he has left near the basket. The Cs knew that. The Thunder occasionally knew that.

As the old type saying goes “theres no bad typefaces, just bad designersâ€. With that said I really like the history behind the typeface Gotham and was lucky enough to take a walking tour with the designer in New York last year where he showed inspirations for the design of it. I unfortunately havent been able to find an appropriate use for the typeface yet.

So its NOT just a matter of us needing Perkins to defend against the Heats center, and you KNOW it. It was a matter of us needing him to to make all the other defenders better, more effective. DAMN IT. You KNOW that what Im saying is true, Jay. I dont expect any other writers to be honest about it, but you damn well should be. You KNOW that our two best defenders, KG and Rondo especially, like to be very aggressive. Having Perk as a defensive anchor freed them to be aggressive. Perk was the difference between a strong defense and a freaking killer defense.

4) Deep Red (Dario Argento, 1975) Excellent Italian giallo that will keep you glued to the screen. I would also highly recommend checking out any other Argento films apart from his awful Phantom of the Opera remake or Trauma which was also pretty bad.

Well, first did you look at those splits, are you kidding me, those are amazing splits up until mile 21 when unfortunately you didnt have the endurance to continue that pace. For someone who was training a ton on the Alter-G and not putting in the miles a 4:06 is such an amazing accomplishment that Im still blown away that you did so well on such a tough course. Please think about this because at the end of the day if everything was aligned for you and you werent injured and undertrained you would of absolutely super rocked this thing more than you did yesterday.
