I'm a little embarrassed.
I had my car into the shop a few weeks ago. Sheen's Auto Care had the caddy for about four days. I know these people well, since I work next door to them and they work on my car often.
Well...
I've had the car back about a week now, and while driving yesterday, happened to glance into the back seat. Lying there, as it does most days, is this anxiety pamphlet a counselor gave me. One of the tasks she asked me to complete at the time she gave me the literature was to recall the last 33 years of my life and write down in 5-year blocks all the significant events during those times.
This I did. On a blank sheet of paper attached to the pamphlet. The same now non-blank sheet aligned face-up on my back seat.
Many things are on that sheet.
Like....well, you can probably imagine.
It's one thing to publicly record the events of my life on the Internet. It's another thing completely when your mechanic knows the first time you got your period.
There's no way I will believe that the guys who worked on my car did not read that thing. I probably would, too, if I saw "Years 1-5: Was Born. Got mad when my brother Dana came and took away all my attention. Hit David Murphy a lot" staring up at me from a piece of paper.
You see, everyone has their "thing" that usually they'll hide. In my case, I choose to be honest and verbal about my "thing," which is insecurity, anxiety, and an overactive imagination (apparently, I meant "things"), that can be a potent neurotic mix. And I like that I'm open about it. And it can bother people. And that's too bad. Maybe if you were honest about your "thing," it'd bother me too. (And don't try to pretend you don't have a "thing.") Maybe that is why you get scared. You read about my stuff and are forced to acknowledge you have your own stuff that you suppress, rather than bring forth.
Whatever! My point is that when I choose to be open about my mind minutae, I at least want to know I'm being open about it!
I wasn't prepared to be open about it two weeks ago at Sheen's Auto Care!
Yes, if Tom Sheen asked me about my irrational fear of death, you could bet a timing belt I'd tell him...BUT I want to be aware of my disclosures...not look in my back seat and have them bite me in the bumper!

This is where you got lost in your otherwise excellent observations. I am one of those conservatory people and I never heard the type of artistically pinpointed details and comprehensive structural awareness that she has displayed in everything she has played in this competition at my conservatory! Or any other, for that matter. Because she doesnt moon over phrases as some do, or extend the boundary of the bar line, we get to see the wonderful Turner-esque landscape of the *composer* in exquisite detail as he conceived it, and not her own amateur paint-by-number dabblings.

In the book I have every single objection from over 20 atheists and individuals whove tried to defeat this argument over the last few years. Whenever I find a new one I add it in. Sadly Ive not found any new ones in the last year. Maybe someone on this list will come up with on. Most objections are just a rehash of old arguments. Some atheists suddenly even tried to argue that there was no need for a cause and some said: Well I dont believe in the BBT.

Would it be possible for you guys to come up with something like what Wikipedia uses? Like if I search for "Black Death," it brings up the historical plague, because that's what people are usually looking for, and then offers me a link to a list of other things titled "Black Death." That seems like a simpler method, at least from a user standpoint -- not sure what the back-end work is like.

The panel will seed these 16 teams and the playoffs would start after a one week break from the end of the regular season (giving 2 full weeks to prepare for the next opponent). This will probably be Thanksgiving weekend, so the games can be spread out over Friday and Saturday. The quarterfinal games would be held the following weekend. The semifinal games would be held on New Year's day (giving teams a month long break to concentrate on finals) and the tital game held one week later.

If I understand your entry correctly that we must learn and take action to take better care of ourselves I agree. I also believe that there have been discoveries in medicine that would alleviate many of our malladies. However, diseases such as cancer have kept the oncologists in this country in business. A well-known cure for cancer, not chemotherapy, would put a dent in the medical profession. But I agree, in that the cures that have been surpressed should be made available. The foods, drinks and amounts we eat and drink have such an impact on health.

People also forget that Clintons first two years as President were also a deep recession which we only came out of when his first mid-term elction was won by the Republicans, in both houses of Congress, who then passed their Contract with America that turned Clintons economy around.

I want to hear about the greed of commerical banking system. The fees, the penalties, the rise of payday loan, check cashing, title loan and tax advance place which now perform transaction which was the business of the bank. why are there more of these businesses than banks in our neighborhood?? The commerical banking system has failed the community with their greed and helped create many of the consumers they called subprime. Underwriters not qualifying loans, correctly, appraisiers over estimated property. I know banks couldnt have done this alone. Im just frustrated because I dont think we are angry enough about their participation in this mess. Why are we bankruptcy the country to support a system that has done nothing but fleece their customers every chance they get. where did Bank of America get the money to pay their last dividend to shareholders? The TARP????
